Dear SmartGPX users,
SmartGPX version 0.11.8 for S60 (2nd/3rd edition) is finally available on
http://www.smartcaching.de/download/
It contains some new features and improvements like:
- "Show nearest" opens a selection dialog with the options "From selected Geocache",
"From GPX Position", "From My Location" and "From Position". This is easier to use
than in previous versions.
- All GPX files from a directory can be imported now in one step. This may take a long
time if the directory contains many files. See <Known> also.
- The search dialog will be opened when pressing any character key and the first character
will be taken for search immediately.
- Spoiler Sync or geopics.pl can be used now to download additional pictures. The directory
that contains pictures and HTML files can be selected via "Settings".

for details. Important: HTML files must be genarated that contain links to the pictures.
SmartGPX will used these files to check for local picutures.
- The location for the Geocache DB and the Local DB can be selected now. They can be installed
either on memory card or in phone memory
- The download location for picturs can be selected now.
- Notes will be exported as Description into the calendar. Notes must be present when selecting
"Found it" in detail view.
- The last import directory will be remembered now and will be preselected when choosing
"Import -> GPX / Directory" the next time.
- Some parameters can be configured with a "Settings" view now:
- Location for Geocache and Local DB (Phone memory/Memory card)
- Location for Picture Downloads (Phone memory/Memory Card)
- Directory for "Local Pictures" (Spoiler Sync, geopics.pl)
- Save finds in calendar (Yes/No)
- Units (Kilometers/Miles)
- Always decrypt hints (Yes/No)
- Always show spoiler pictures (Yes/No)
More settings will follow later.

Version 0.11 for UIQ3 with the features listed above is nearly finished. I'll try to release it later this week.
I have some minor problems with it that need to be fixed first.
I've still not started with translation and localization yet. Maybe the version 0.11 can be a 1.0 candidate.

The bad news: There will be no new SmartGPX version for Series 80. Supporting 3 different platforms
costs a lot of time and I've decided to spend the time for S60 and UIQ3 insted because these platforms
are more popular. Version 0.9 for S80 remains available for download of course.
So, give the new version a try if you like.
